Unveil More of the Rift Valley's Hidden Gems: The Fearless Expedition
The Rift Valley, a crown jewel of Kenya, holds secrets waiting to be unveiled. The Kapedo Falls & Silale Crater Expedition, aptly named "The Fearless Expedition," takes you on an unforgettable adventure to explore these hidden gems, untouched by many.
This odyssey begins in the chilly embrace of Nairobi County, unfolding through Nakuru and Baringo Counties, before touching the fringes of Turkana County. Imagine camping under a canopy of stars, a memory that will forever be etched in your heart. Prepare for an experience unlike any other – pure wild camping, nights spent on the rim of a crater, and the invigorating sensation of swimming beneath a hot waterfall (yes, you read that right!).
Embrace awe-inspiring landscapes, heart-pounding moments, and encounters that will leave you breathless. We'll venture into the uncharted territory of Kapedo, warmly welcomed by the fierce and proud Turkana people. This journey becomes a testament to courage and resilience as we navigate the epic landscapes with reverence for the land and its inhabitants.
Become honored guests of the regal Pokot people and witness the colossal majesty of Mt. Silale, a massive caldera hidden deep within their territory. Its ancient mysteries and breathtaking vistas will leave you humbled. Witness the still-active volcano, Mt. Paka for the first time and pass under the shadow of the mythical Tiaty Hills.
The adventure continues to the tranquil shores of Lake Baringo and the captivating Lake Bogoria. Here, amidst these natural wonders, discover the rare gem of Netbon Kudu, one of Kenya's only three natural blue pools. Immerse yourself in the ethereal blue waters, a soothing escape that feels like stepping into a dream.
The Kapedo Falls & Silale Crater Expedition promises a kaleidoscope of experiences. From the invigorating swim beneath Kenya's only hot waterfall (Kapedo Falls) to the challenging climb of the rugged Mt. Silale, and the thrill of encountering the elusive Mt. Paka, this odyssey will leave you wanting more.
